Why Do YOU Need a Blogging Coach?

I remember sitting in front of my old Apple desktop computer. We got it second hand from a friend when we moved to Alberta. It was old but it let me hook up to the internet and that was all that we really needed. Looking up Blogger and sitting there unsure of what the next step was.

Panic filled me. I sat at the screen for what felt like hours. Trying to decide if this was the correct step for me. I had NEVER put myself out there like this before and the dread that was filling me was TERRIFYING.

Then I just did it. I clicked on sign up and began the process. I began free because I didn’t think anyone was going to want to read what I had to write. The words that were begging to come out of me. The Original Me. I was still searching for who I thought I was supposed to be. That was my first blog name. A lost soul trying to find who she lost 11 years prior. Only to begin the journey to realizing that I had lost that girl forever and who was sitting in front of the computer screen at that point in time was someone brand new and ready to be let out.

Blogging took over my world. It became a part of me that to this day, 5 years later, it still has me hooked. There are pieces of me still coming out in the words that I write and put out into the world. Pieces of me that are transforming to find out my true purpose and that blogging was that purpose all along. Who knew that a simple suggestion to start a blog over 5 years ago, would translate into what it has become today.

WHY DO YOU NEED A BLOG COACH?

I did it on my own and I don’t want YOU to have to do that. Blogging is very intimidating and overwhelming when you first begin. I want to take that overwhelm and intimidation away and ensure that you feel confident.

Staring at your computer screen with a blank look.

You’ve been there, right? You finally got the nerve to get your blog started, went to the host site, and sat there at the sign-up screen wondering what to do next. Allowing the feeling of fear to take ahold and win. The questions that cloud your mind…

What was I thinking?

I don’t know anything about technology, what made me think I could blog?

Who would read my blog in the first place?

I am confused just by signing up, how am I going to figure out the rest of the blogging process?

Don’t let those questions take over. I am not here to tell you that blogging isn’t intense or that it is easy. It is both intense, hard, time-consuming, BUT so INCREDIBLY REWARDING. I know that deep down you have a story inside of you that wants to break out. You are doing all that you can to hold it all in but NO MORE. Let that story out and let it impact your community of readers, your tribe, and yourself in ways that you didn’t even think were possible.

You have the vision of your blog in your head but don’t know how to execute it.

I help with that. I teach you how to take your ideas and create the blog of your dreams. I walk you through every stage of the blogging process. From choosing colours, domain names, blog names, setting up your website, social media setup, content ideas, to publishing your first post. I am side by side with you to walk you through the steps you feel are too hard or that you just won’t understand. I use my 5 years of experience to help you from your day 1.

You need to be held accountable.

We all need someone cheering us on. Life is no fun with nobody by our side. Blogging is hard work and you may be at the point where you are just feeling defeated and deflated about it all. I help breathe life back into your vision. I give you homework weekly. I want to see you succeed. That is my job as your blogging coach. To watch you create the blog that you have always imagined. There are moments when we all need to be held accountable for the next step in our progress.

You think that you are too old to learn how to blog.

Oh, I want to let you in on a little secret. You are never too old to learn something new. I love that I can teach women who think they are too old and outdated blogging. I didn’t grow up with technology. I didn’t get my first cellphone until I was 18. I had flip phones until 2012. I didn’t learn how to blog until I dedicated time to do it. If blogging is something you WANT to learn, blogging is something you WILL learn. Let me help you.

I still have 2 spaces available for the Blogology course that is starting on March 16. If you are ready to step into YOUR goals then let me help you. This course is 6 weeks long. The topics are….

You will finally have created the blog that you have been talking about for years. I am excited to help you bring your blogging vision to life.
